My Chinese visa has been secured and the plans to begin making my way through South-East Asia are progressing nicely. Just one slight change to the itinerary: Instead of heading to Seoul at the end of this month, I decided to forgo Hongdae Club Day in favor of celebrating Halloween in Kansai. I’ll now be taking a boat across the Sea of Japan on November 3rd, just one day before my 3-month tourist visa expires.

Also, Peder has skipped his flight back to Norway and purchased a new ticket that leaves from Korea on November 11th. Looks like I won’t be making the boat trip on my own after all!

The rest of the plans remain as-is: roughly two weeks in Seoul and the surrounding areas before catching another ferry onward to Qingdao, China 🙂

(Note: This post was originally part of the next, later split into two.)
