Noooo! I can’t believe it! The Sanjo-Kawaramachi Wendy’s, my favorite post-all-nighter eatery, my regular spot at 5am on Sunday morning, has gone out of business! The next closest location I know of is in Tokyo 😥
I can’t imagine how this could’ve happened; they always had so many customers. Morning, noon, and night, the majority of their two floors of seats seemed full.
Now what are my friends and I supposed to do with our weekly hangovers** 😐
Ouch man that sucks! Luckily for me there is a Wendy’s about 20 minutes from me in Meguro (I think that’s what its called) I believe, one stop past where my commuter pass takes me…
There has got to be another one in Kyoto. I know of several in Kobe.

Heather and I just ate at the Wendy’s in Sannomiya this last weekend with Keir. Let me know when you’re stopping by and I’ll show you the secret gaijin back entrance.

David: I actually ate there on the last night they were opened, and asked the staff if they had any other locations in Kyoto (or planned to open any). They said no 🙁

eatate there too! Seriously, what are we supposed to do now??(In the summer, my new favorite late-night-snack place is Hamid Kabab on Kiyamachi. There are 2 of them; the owner always hangs out at the Southern one. The food is great!)
