I FINALLY got copies of the original video files from last quarter’s big final game demo!
For those of you who don’t know (and haven’t checked out my projects page), last quarter I was one of the students fortunate enough to be accepted into UCSD’s video game development senior project course. Groups of 6 programmers (in the case of our group, 4 programmers) were given 10 weeks to design and implement from scratch a 3D realtime online multiplayer game. It was the most fun and DEFINITELY the hardest class I’ve ever taken…and at the end of it, I got to present my project (along with the other 4 groups) in front of about 200 people and a live video crew. Lots and lots of stuff to move
Wow. I must say, it feels pretty weird to be DONE with college. While I still have plenty of things to take care of in the next couple of weeks, I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have any immediate deadlines – whether they were for work, school, or whatever.
